In brief you should know the following about us:  While research on our products began in the early 70’s, The company Summit Springs actually started our business in 1993.  Incorporating in 1997, we grew from 2 guys with a couple of quarters to rub together between them, to a viable small company striving to produce a vital organic product.  From the beginning our founder Loren Miller ran the company with one principal, “From farmers for Farmers, producing a quality affordable product to help the American Farmer stay on the Farm.”  To this day we still strive to provide a product with more value to the Farmer than  cost to  purchase.  With the help of our customers we have been able to continue this growth based on these principals.  A new 2 acre corporate facility with offices, three  research greenhouses and lab.  In 2007 the original production plant  expanded to five acres and two new facilities one in Colorado and a new thirty acre facility in Arizona lead to the addition of a second manufacturing company, Summit Organic.  With this addition our employee owned organizations are now taking on a new role of assisting our Sustainable/Conventional Friends with a new line of products this year.  All of this has been made possible by our loyal family of customers who we are proud to know and support in their efforts to continue in their most important occupation of feeding the world, the American Farmer!
